BIOGRAPHY
Harbour Lights are four people who met working nights at the same distribution warehouse and started a band mostly so they would have a reason to be in the same room when they were not. They have never had a line-up change, which for a band that has now made two albums and played somewhere in the region of three hundred shows is close to a miracle. Their songs are built the same way every time: a guitar figure that repeats until it becomes a hook, a vocal that arrives late, and an ending that goes on longer than it should. ‘Low Ceiling’ was the first record Nightform ever pressed and it is still the one that defines what we sound for. ‘Salt Air’ proved they could do it slowly as well as quickly. They are currently writing a third, allegedly with keyboards on it, which nobody quite believes.
